Aciers Richelieu and Usinage St-Laurent recently organized a benefit evening at the resto-bar Les Tire-Bouchons. The aim of this initiative was to raise funds for the 1000 km challenge organized by the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie. Thanks to the generosity of participants and the support of the resto-bar, the evening was a great success, raising a total of $2,985 for the Saint-Anne-les-Îles elementary school.
The Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie is an initiative aimed at promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits among young people. By organizing this benefit evening, Richelieu Steels and Usinage St-Laurent demonstrated their support for this essential cause, encouraging the well-being and health of children at Saint-Anne-les-Îles Elementary School.
The event was held in a festive and convivial atmosphere at the resto-bar Les Tire-Bouchons. Participants enjoyed a pleasant evening while contributing to a worthy cause. A variety of activities, such as a pedal-thon where $5 was donated per kilometre travelled and a half-and-half, were organized to encourage people to make donations. The generosity of participants raised an impressive $2,985, all of which will be donated to Saint-Anne-les-Îles Elementary School.
